  2. It has to do with road construction and areas where traffic jams up at Austin and Harlem on 290.

  4. I reverse commute from the city to the suburbs. 290 always slows between Central and 25th in the morning. I think this would be alleviated if Austin and Harlem exits were moved to the right side and we got to keep the 4th lane. At night, 290 is backed up by all the people taking the 88/294 exit and only the right most lane squeezes by. And then of course from Mannheim to Austin it’s a parking lot again..
