Illinois State Police acknowledge it wrongly issued a gun license to Aurora shooter

Illinois State Police acknowledged today that the agency wrongly issued a gun license to the shooter in the Aurora warehouse murders, and also suggested that the Aurora Police Department may have failed to do its part to ensure the man no longer owned a weapon.

  1. Gun laws WORK except for the time my buddy went to MO and bought a Romanian AK even though he couldn’t get a Foid in IL. Only took 30 days for the ATF to say he had to give it up, then it belonged to a family member wink wink.
    Gun laws work! Except for that time my other buddy got a felony and had to surrender his Foid and his guns, his guns just were sold at a “Gun Show” wink wink.

  5. The FOID application states that it a class 2 felony to provide false answers to the questions on the form. So they revoke his card, but arresting him for falsely submitting an application doesn’t happen? Why exactly is that?
