  3. This is one of the reasons why I was telling Bulls fans to stop telling the players to tank and lose on purpose. I wanted to see this young team know how to win and close out games. I remember cleveland didn’t have the worst record in 2013 but landed with the 1# pick. He was a bust but still the fact they landed #1. And no if we would have lost more the results wouldn’t have been different. Lakers won nearly 40 games and got a top pick over us. Pelicans had a way better record but surprisingly landed with number 1 pick. The bulls biggest problems weren’t top picks to save us, its the front office. It’s up to our front office now to build a winning culture team. Last year they made so many excuses, scapegoats to keep their jobs. We have few nice pieces. Itss up to them to step up and build on it. Try to trade the pick or not, get drose, upgrade the bench, get rid of felicio and some of these d’league players. Sign some solid veteran shooters.

  11. Absolute worst case scenario, tanking failed, we the same treadmill we were before we traded rose and jimmy.

Best we can build now is being good enough to lose to the bucks, sixers and Celtics every year. Smh. Best we can be Is fighting detroit, charlotte, Miami and the Hawks for 8th seed every year.

  19. Anything short of the playoffs won’t do this year. Since I no longer live in Chicago, I will not pay for League Pass until this team shows they are serious. There comes a point where you can’t place blame on the players and coaches. Eventually, changes need to be made in the front office if this keeps happening. Hopefully we make the playoffs so we don’t have to realize this. Until the Bulls show that they can be a top 8 team in the East, I’m happy saving up my money for nice vacations.

  24. No decent free agent wants to play here and you know it. Stop fleecing the fans and be honest in your ineptitude. You guys got screwed in the draft and frankly, you all deserved it.

  27. Lord, this makes me so angry.

Lost 2/3 of the last 240 games, we get no. 7 picks, but on top of that, GarPax have been UTTERLY ineffectual. Utterly incompetent. You’ve had over a decade to at least bring the team close to the Finals. The only success there was due to D-Rose and Thibs.

GarPax’s time is WELL PAST over.

  28. Can’t the headline just be, “Bulls get screwed in draft lottery”?

  29. Lets make a big move here Gar/Pax. Trade the 7th +Dunn+Felicio for Lonzo and Ingram….Lakers will offer the 4th and the 7th to NOLA for AD. NOLA will have the 1st, the 4th and the 7th round pick to begin the rebuild. Win Win Win trade.

  30. This franchise is an absolute dumpster fire right now. I trust GarPax with trading this pick about as much as I would trust Dennis Rodman to run our front office. Until GarPax goes we will stay in constant rebuild. They extended Boylan for gods sake….what a disgrace to the Bulls history

  31. I will say if they going to make rules to stop tanking and penalize worthy teams by giving away top picks to winning teams the league needs to be disbanded or make a competition limits and a hard salary cap to end super teams thats real cheating

  38. Relegation is the answer. You keep loosing then your entire franchise is headed to the developmental league. See how much the owners and GMs would like that.

  39. Maybe it’s time for a new GM. This current regime just can’t seem to get it right
