Violence is believed to have beget more violence in a pair of deadly Memorial Day weekend shootings, police say. The shootings — one Sunday morning and the other hours earlier — accounted for nearly half of Chicago’s gun violence fatalities over the bloody weekend.

  4. Again who fault is that? Not the police. Not the mayor. Not people from safe neighborhoods or whatever is left of any neighborhood in Chicago that is safe. That is the fault of the community residents that live in those crime-ridden neighborhoods. As long as those community residents continue to be anti-police, have a no-snitch culture, don’t value education, don’t value where they live, always playing the victim game and not holding their kids responsible than crime will continue. Right now people are tired of pouring money into these crime-ridden neighborhoods with new schools, businesses wanting to open and new community centers to uplift people to see no end result. Why no result? Because it comes down to the people in these crime-ridden communities. If they don’t put the effort to end the crime then again the fault is on those residents. People are tired of giving these people a helping hand only to see it squandered over and over and over again.
